Masker i Marsken – Effect Dyeing with Plants

At this workshop, we’ll play with the possibilities of creating effects using plants. We’ll go through which plant materials are best suited for effect dyeing, and explore the different types of surface effects you can achieve. And of course, we’ll roll up our sleeves and start painting with plants – creating our own beautiful, naturally dyed yarns.

We’ll try out two different methods for creating dye effects.

By the end of the workshop, everyone will take home at least four different colours, a printed guide, and the knowledge and inspiration to continue plant dyeing at home.
